As an Agile Coach within the HMRC Account. I work with leaders and teams to establish and strengthen their agile mindsets through continued transformation and the adoption of new methods and techniques.
Coaching leaders on the importance of being purpose driven. I help them to formulate and communicate why they do what they do through the creation of a vision, and how they will progress towards it through a common set of values.
Using these cultural pillars, I help them to define the desired culture required for agility and then work closely with them and their teams to understand where they are today and how they can move forward.

SENIOR SCRUM MASTER (JAN 2015 - DEC 2022)
HMRC Account, Capgemini UK, Telford
Working within the HMRC’s Digital Delivery Center in Telford, I performed the role of a Lead Senior Scrum Master within Digital Transformation.
My primary role within the center was as an active Scrum Master for a multitude of digital projects and development teams. Working directly with teams coaching in Agile and Scrum methodologies, facilitating events including the Daily Scrums, Planning, Reviews and Retrospectives and building a self empowered culture and environment for all members.
Key Achievements
Design and implementation of a departmental Pulse survey that allowed everyone within the department to provide anonymous method feedback to the organisation. Lead regular Pulse review sessions with a team of people to identify key issues raised within the Pulse survey and run with transformation initiatives to improve.
Development of an agile team health check approach that was adopted by all teams within the department to help measure agile maturity and highlight core impediments of improvement.
Development of an organisational wide Terms of Reference for the Scrum Master Capability to provide those within the accountability a clear definition and understanding of their role and its expectations.
SCRUM MASTER (JAN 2011 - DEC 2015)

Working within Capgemini's Java Delivery Center on the HMRC's Aspire account, I performed the role of a Senior Agile Scrum Master for a number of development and Agile Scrum teams.
My primary responsibility was to work closely with a number of legacy and digital teams as their Scrum Master to coach team members on Agile delivery and facilitate their ceremonies.
Alongside my day to day role I also worked closely with center leadership and a Scrum Master community the continued adoption of Agile methods and Scrum/Kanban approaches during the organisations transformation from Waterfall to Agile.
Key Achievements
Design, Setup and Facilitation of a scaled JIRA and Confluence implementation including consistent reporting mechanisms that were adopted across a programme of work comprising of over ten delivery teams.

Working within Capgemini's Java Delivery Center on the HMRC's Aspire account as a Project Development Lead, I provided leadership to a development team of twelve in maintaining and enhancing the HMRC's Channel Routing Interface Service (ChRIS) messaging system.
